Gardens by Kirsten

Five mockups exploring tone, layout, and palette. Same content throughout — design is the variable. Open each in a new tab to compare side by side.

i
Atelier · Single Column

Atelier

A printed monograph. Narrow column, generous whitespace, drop caps, hairline rules. Reads like a fine garden book. Type-led, image-supporting.

ii
Gallery · Image-Dominant

Gallery

Museum-style. Full-bleed hero, asymmetric portfolio grid with span-7/span-5 mixed sizes, tight chrome. Designed to disappear behind the photography.

iii
Editorial · Magazine Layout

Editorial

Like a high-end garden quarterly. Volume/issue masthead, two-column body with drop caps, double-rule section heads, pull-quote spread, journal preview. Conveys depth.

iv
Conservatory · Ornamental

Conservatory

Slightly Victorian, picture-frame mode. Decorative borders, ornamental dividers (✿ ❦), centered crests, framed portfolio cards. Most ornamented of the five.

v
Dansk Have · Wildcard

Dansk Have (different palette)

Scandinavian/Bauhaus minimal. Different palette — warm parchment, sage, terracotta, deep ink (no rose-pink, no mophead-blue). Inter + Cormorant + JetBrains Mono. Plate numbers, section markers, Danish-language flourishes. Most contemporary.

All mockups use gradient placeholders for photography — final site will use Mom's photos.
Same content (bio, services, portfolio entries, testimonial, CTA) across all five so design is the only variable.
